Asia has seen a fair number of youth-led protests in the 21st century, including:

•  Hong Kong's Umbrella Movement in 2014
• Thailand's pro-democracy rallies 
• the July uprising in Bangladesh
• the Aragalaya movement in Sri Lanka and
• Nepal's Gen Z protests
