The latest ubuntu in CI doesn't have g++-8.
Similar to this: gerbv/gerbv#152 but instead of pinning to an old version, I install the new dependency.
unittest2 was a backport for old versions of python but we're on modern python3 now.
The lcov developers made huge changes and it's hard to tell what broke in there. linux-test-project/lcov#174
