1. Install Official MIUI Fastboot ROM:

   • Download the fastboot version of MIUI ROM for your device (.tgz format). Use this to ensure your system is clean and official.
   • Extract file .tgz

2. Download and Install Mi Flash Tool

3. Enter Fastboot Mode:

   • Power off your phone.
   • Hold Volume Down + Power until the Fastboot screen appears.

4. Connect Your Phone to the PC via USB.

5. Open Mi Flash Tool and Click Select and choose the extracted folder of the fastboot ROM.

6. At the bottom of the tool, choose “clean all and lock” if you want to "lock the bootloader", and all data will be erased

   • clean all: All data and apps will be erased, but the bootloader will remain unlocked.
   • save user data: Your data will remain safe, but apps will be removed (factory reset), and the bootloader will remain unlocked.
   • clean and lock: All data and apps will be erased (clean install), and the bootloader will be locked.

7. Click Flash and wait for the process to complete.

Step to Erase System Dynamic Partition

• Boot custom recovery (TWRP/Orangefox)
• Enter the reboot menu
• Choose fastboot reboot

Run this command (cmd-windows):

• fastboot erase vendor
• fastboot erase system

1. Download:
   • TWRP (.img)
   • OrangeFox-MIUI (.zip) ➜ Save it to your SDCard
2. Turn off your phone. Enter fastboot mode by pressing and holding the Power button + Volume Down button simultaneously. Keep holding them until you enter fastboot mode, then release.
3. Once you're in fastboot mode, connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable.
4. Open CMD and type the command:
   fastboot devices
   Then press Enter. Make sure your device ID appears, which means your device is detected. If it's not detected, you need to reinstall the adb-fastboot drivers correctly.
5. To install TWRP, use the command:
   fastboot flash recovery (drag & drop the twrp .img file) then press Enter.
   Example: fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.7.1_12-0-sweet.img
6. Reboot the device to Recovery Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Up buttons. When the 'MI' logo appears, release the Power button immediately.
7. Once you're in TWRP, flash the OrangeFox (.zip) file that you saved to your SDCard.
8. Done!
