This commit changes the contents of the audit rules file to be the same as the latest file provided by audit:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/linux-audit/audit-userspace/refs/heads/master/rules/30-ospp-v42.rules

Does the content match across every RHEL version, for example, in RHEL9 the content of the audit samples match this one?

If the contents of the file actually matters in the end.

Basically the question if we should use jinja macros to guard this new change and be applicable to only certain versions of RHEL

RHEL9 has the following:

But I guess this doesn't really matter, right?

The OVAL check checks for the exact match of that file, that means that every single character matters.

RHEL 10 contains different path in the comment in 30-ospp-v42.rules.
