Sailors saved from going over edge of huge dam
Footage shows the moment four men were pulled to safety after spending hours dangling off the edge of a 40m (130ft) dam in South Africa.
Rescuers from the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) arrived at the Grootdraai Dam in Mpumalanga on Monday after reports that a boat had suffered motor failure, before drifting to the edge of the dam.
The NSRI credited quick-thinking employees who opened sluice gates on the spillway to stop the boat being swept away by the heavy water flow. The men were reportedly uninjured.
