HELL hath no fury like a Katy Perry scorned – just take a listen to her cutting new single, Bandaids.
The American singer dated Orlando Bloom for almost a decade, and 12 months ago, she seemed totally loved up.
But now Katy has lifted the lid on her split from her former fiance, with Bandaids packed full of pointed lyrics aimed at the English actor.
The US star sings: “Got so used to you letting me down, no use trying to send flowers now.
“Telling myself you’ll change, you don’t.
“Band-Aids over a broken heart.” Ouch.

The standalone single was released yesterday and was accompanied by a video which shows Katy injuring herself in a number of ways, including chopping off a tree branch which she is sitting on.
In the song, Katy suggests she was even driven to drugs to deal with the issues in her relationship with Orlando.
The Firework singer continues: “Tried all the medications, lowered my expectations, made every justification.
“Bleeding out, bleeding out, bleeding out slow.”

Break-up bop
Implying that the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor barely even spoke to her, Katy sings: “It’s not that complicated to ask me how my day is.
“I’m flatlining trying to save this.”
There is some saving grace for Orlando, though, with Katy going on to say “the love we made was worth it in the end” — seemingly referring to their daughter Daisy.
She sings: “On the bright side, we had good times, never faked our pictures, we were perfect ’til we weren’t.
“Now we’ve got too many splinters.”
Between this and Lily Allen’s new West End Girl album — in which she accuses her ex-husband David Harbour of cheating on her — I’m starting to think this is the autumn of the brutal break-up bop.
Now we just need Nicole Kidman to relaunch her music career and tell us what went down with Keith Urban.
One man who is supporting his woman scorned is Katy’s new boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Hours before she released Bandaids, he shared a snap of himself wearing a plaster, while encouraging his followers to book in for their Covid and flu jabs.
One fan commented, “Nice bandaid!” while another wrote: “Love a supportive boyfriend.”
It’s over to you now, Orlando . . .
WITH his flowing locks and incredible voice, Sam Ryder is made for the West End stage.
And musicals legend Andrew Lloyd Webber certainly thinks so, as he’s cast the Eurovision 2022 runner-up in the leading role of Jesus Christ Superstar.
The hit show, which made its West End debut in 1972, is returning for an 11-week run at the London Palladium from June 20 next year.
Space Man singer Sam said: “I’m so excited to be part of one of the biggest institutions in musical theatre at The London Palladium.
“I’m honoured to take on this responsibility.”
Dua has beanie to see Callum
CALLUM TURNER has been busy acting out a love affair with glamorous Monica Barbaro for their new film.
So I can’t blame his fiancee Dua Lipa for swinging by the set to see what all the fuss was about.
US actress Monica, who starred in Top Gun: Maverick and the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, wore a sequin minidress in New York while shooting scenes for One Night Only.
The rom-com follows two strangers in a restrictive society who are desperate to find someone to sleep with on the one night of the year when premarital sex is legal.
Dua attempted to disguise herself in a black beanie hat during the visit, before flying last night to Buenos Aires in Argentina for the latest stop on her Radical Optimism tour.
ROO’S ALL ABOUT COLEEN
KARAOKE superfan Wayne Rooney picked up a mic backstage at McFly v Busted’s latest gig to serenade his wife Coleen.
Wayne revealed he got Tom Fletcher to rework the lyrics to McFly’s hit All About You while Coleen was starring in I’m A Celebrity . . . last year – he wanted to surprise her with the song rather than a letter.
But Wayne couldn’t make it happen at the time, leaving him to perform it to his wife backstage in Manchester.
Wayne said: “There weren’t many people there so I sang it to Coleen.
“I’m an emotional person and when I sing, the emotion can take over.
“I sang it to her before and when she saw Tom with his guitar, she said, ‘Please don’t’.
“I’ll get stick, but it’s a bit of fun.
“They should re-release the song.”
I’d love to hear it.
GARBAGE and Skunk Anansie have announced a joint headline tour for next year.
The top Nineties groups will perform together at six dates in June, including playing Forest Live in Delamere Forest, Cheshire on June 18, Scarborough Open Air Theatre on June 20 and Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on June 22.
GLEN’S IN CRUISE CONTROL
GLEN POWELL got advice from the best when filming action thriller The Running Man, with Tom Cruise spending hours giving him his best tips and tricks.
He recalled: “Tom rang me to give me the low-down.
“What I thought would be a ten-minute call lasted two and a half hours – he told me how not to die.
“He also gave me running lessons. He said, ‘Film yourself running because you don’t look as cool as you think you do.’
“He was so right.”
But it wasn’t much fun for Glen when it came to actually doing his stunts.
On last night’s Graham Norton Show, on BBC One, he said: “I had to abseil down eight storeys of a building in freezing conditions half naked and wearing a harness which cinched me – believe me, nothing looked good.”
GIGS ARE FIVE ALIVE
FIVE are in the middle of their epic comeback arena tour and if you missed out on a ticket . . . don’t despair.
You’ll be able to watch the lads – Abz Love, Jason ‘J’ Brown, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon – from the comfort of your sofa as they are filming their experiences on the road, with plans for a possible concert documentary.
Scott said: “People like to see behind the curtain.
“The fans who come to your concerts want to see your music – but they also want to see what goes on backstage.
“We’re filming bits and bobs for our memories as well.
“It’s so nice to look back on these moments, and capture these moments because that’s what people want to see – the real stuff that goes on.
“We’re open to a film.
“It would be amazing to do something like that.
“I think people need to see it.”
J added: “The off-camera, behind-the-scenes stuff is what we’re all about. Capturing that stuff gives people a really good insight into us.”
The group will play their next show in Leeds tonight, followed by a night in Birmingham before they head to London’s O2 Arena.
After spending time with the band backstage on the first night of the tour in Cardiff, I can confirm that they are endlessly entertaining.
A Five film is one I’d definitely watch.
Myster-ice girl, Pete
PETER ANDRE and his doctor wife Emily got into the festive spirit – seven weeks early.
They got their skates on for a spin around Glide ice rink outside Battersea Power Station in South London for its launch on Thursday.
It wasn’t all smiles, though, as they were overheard bickering over whether they should stay on the ice or pop back into the accompanying party for some grub.
The problems of the rich and famous, eh?
