Today, the The Linux Foundation announced the Agentic AI Foundation, with Anthropic donating MCP and OpenAI contributing AGENTS.md as founding projects. Docker is joining alongside Anthropic, OpenAI, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare, Block, and Bloomberg. We've always believed the most important infrastructure should be open. We built Docker on that principle: open standards for how applications run, everywhere. Open standards won the application layer. They'll win the agent layer too.
