Human rights investigators probe alleged war crimes in Gaza

DW met Sabreen Al Tartour, who gathers evidence for international courts despite being displaced 12 times during the war. As probes into alleged war crimes begin under the current Gaza ceasefire, Israel rejects all accusations. This report contains accounts that some viewers may find distressing.

Andrew Gilmour, a former UN assistant secretary-general for human rights, talked to DW about his view of the role of Palestinian human rights NGOs and of Israel's rejection of all war crime allegations in Gaza.

Two months into the US-brokered ceasefire, Israel and Hamas have yet to move toward its second phase, which calls for an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and for Hamas to lay down its arms.
