Hello Bill This is already implemented.
You can enable public search for a logbook. In combination with the public slug a visitor is able to search his callsign in the searchbar of the visitorsite

Thanks Fabian. You're right, I missed that checkbox. But when I started thinking about a DIY solution, I realized I wanted an op to be able in a single query to find their call in any or all of the special event logs. So I've built that. It looks in the users table to find all the club stations, then finds all the entries in the log table that match on any club station as station callsign and the requestor's call as the logged call. Optionally with timestamp filters. It was pretty easy and works fine. |

I see that with the Visitor Site feature of the station logbook I can allow some limited public view-only access to my log. But is there something more complete? In particular, that would allow searching? We will use wavelog for our special event and I would like to offer a simple means of "Am I in the log?" searches.
What suggestions?
Thanks - Bill N7DZ
