Is it possible to display edit window of a widget immediately after the widget is selected in the "Add new widget" dialog?

Some of our widgets require initial configuration and there is no default configuration, so a user has to click "Edit widget configuration" icon every time he adds a new widget. It would be very helpful to have an ability to open the edit window automatically.
