I took the S-Bahn to Dudenhofen and the bus to Babenhausen and the regional train to Altheim. It was a warm and blustery walk through some fields to the woods, where the paths were covered in slush and ice. The approach to the point was pretty easy. The hashpoint was at a tree and one I felt I could climb. I set my backpack some distance away in the soft carpet of leaves and started up. The limbs were small, but held my weight if I put my feet where they met the trunk. My feet reached the branch that was a bit above my head when I was on the ground and took a selfie. I carefully descended and took another, indicating the branch upon which I had stood. I walked back to Altheim for the train.
