Elevate Your Presentations and Screencasts
These apps will up your lecture or demo game.
Even a perfectly prepared presentation can benefit from some onscreen focus. These apps can enhance yourpresentations and screencasts using highlights, annotations, and video—and help you hide everything you don’t want the audience to see.
Presentation Assistant
Presentation Assistant dims everything but what’s under the pointer, creating a digital spotlight to highlight what’s important.

Cursor Pro
Cursor Pro surrounds your pointer with a prominent circle (or other shape) that changes color whenever you click (with different colors for click and Control-click). Perfect for UI demos, the app’s magnification feature reveals even the tiniest details.

Keystroke Pro
Are keystrokes and shortcuts integral to your demo? Keystroke Pro displays, right on the screen, whatever you press.

Presentify
Add lines, arrows, shapes, or text right over your screenshare, then erase everything with a keypress. Pro tip: Press W to draw on a temporary whiteboard—you can even use your iPad to do the drawing.

ScreenBrush
For complex annotations on your UI demos, use ScreenBrush to add lines, arrows, shapes, and text beforehand, then capture them for overlays you can apply—and edit—on the fly. Use the iOS version of ScreenBrush to control your presentation and annotations without having to be in front of your Mac.

Mirror Magnet
Put a live camera feed on your screen so viewers can see you while you present—or show the screen of your iPhone or iPad. The video fades when the cursor passes over it, so it never gets in the way of your content.

Side Mirror
When presenting to a separate screen behind you, Side Mirror displays that screen’s contents in a window on your Mac—so you can keep your eyes on the audience.

DeskMat
Instead of worrying about a cluttered desktop, let DeskMat cover it with your choice of image—either on demand or whenever a particular app is launched.

Desktop Curtain
Have a mess of windows distracting from what’s important? Desktop Curtain gives you a virtual backdrop that reveals only the windows you want to show.

Screegle
Screegle automates sharing or recording of particular windows: Simply move the pointer over each window and press Command-F1. The app can also automatically pause notifications, add closed captions, and highlight and magnify the pointer.
