Apple Intelligence is now integrated into even more apps, making it easier than ever to explore your surroundings, speed up your searches, and unlock new capabilities. Here’s a look at all you can do.

Use the flash-card maker Kahoot! to create quizzes based on your handwritten notes, or have the journaling app stoic. generate personalized prompts and summaries of your past entries. It’s all powered by Apple’s on-device AI model—no internet required. Try it with these awesome apps.

When browsing apps, shopping for products, or scrolling through images, you can now use visual intelligence to ask ChatGPT a question about anything on your iPhone screen or to do an image search in Google, Etsy, and other apps. Just take a screenshot to pull up the options. (Want to search only part of the image? You can highlight just the flowers, for example, by swiping over them.)

With visual intelligence, you can also take actions like adding an event to your calendar from a digital flyer. Try the new capabilities with these apps.

Live Translation can automatically provide translated text in Messages, live captions in FaceTime, and spoken translations for calls in the Phone app. It’s never been easier to book a dinner reservation on vacation, speak to a relative in another country, or make new friends while studying abroad.

In addition to the existing Animation, Illustration, and Sketch styles, Image Playground adds new ChatGPT styles, like Oil Painting and Watercolor. Check out these apps that integrate Image Playground.

Writing Tools help you find just the right word virtually everywhere you write on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Here are great apps where Writing Tools can fix typos, tweak your tone, or suggest a polished rewrite.

When you’re in a group chat in Messages, you’ll see suggestions for creating a poll when a group decision needs to be made. And you can use Image Playground to create custom background images for your Messages conversations. To try it out, tap the names at the top of a conversation and tap Backgrounds.
