I really like it so far. It reminds me of: Stardew Valley(farm management, this is the best game to be compared to IMO) The Swords of Ditto and Cuphead(art style and some familiar feelings from both that I like) Crashlands(I don’t know fully why maybe the upgrades which work kinda like crafting, which is different)Loop hero(in the way that if you risk late nights in this game or another late loop in loop hero and fail, losing your potential gains. There are fun new things like searching out seeds and having them follow you. The combo system is great too. Too bad I’m too slow to take proper advantage of it. I can tell it’s good though. No inventory management is something I didn’t think I would like. But I do. There is A lot of good stuff going on here. You should give it a try. I’m not very far into it but I can see the larger areas and things to be unlocked. It makes me Look forward to getting to those areas. I am gonna be putting my free moments into this for awhile. I think it’s worth the price, even now that it’s not on pre-order. Go play this fun and interesting game.Edit: The dev has been very diligent at squashing bugs. It’s a unique farming game with unique mechanics. I was frustrated with the games lack of transparency on some issues. Some of the mechanics were difficult to figure out blindly, wish they had an encyclopedia entry for tutorial topics like how long the season is how to plant a crop. I am disappointed there was no additional mechanics introduced once I completed a year. No new crops or additional explorations. There are assets in the forest that look like they are for cool in game events or something but still have not found them to be for anything. A giant beanstalk thing, a stone with a letter, and a what appears to be a closed path boulder. The characters lack some interest they are just kind of there. Days are so short in game I just end up playing 10min at dead night just pushing ghosts away to do some stuff around the farm. The most frustrating mechanic is getting the stupid bugs over to your crops in late game and not killing them too early to chain the skull coins off them, more annoying and lucky than rewarding. I found it kind of annoying to play spring and summer(volcano) it is really confusing or annoying to create infinite chains with these crops, bc in fall and winter it’s dumb easy idk if this is intentional or not.Despite my rambling the game is fun to play but the frustrations with it are there.I’m at year 2 fall maybe I haven’t got to more content yet?

This game is amazing, tho I would like more to be able to do, but still its a nice chill game also commenting on the cupdew valley review it does remind of stardew valley in a very good way, one little thing I don’t like is that it takes to long for big plants to harvest I would like so if you have a 2 combo it would build up enough strength to take out two hp on big plants, but aside from that excellent game and I would also like more abilities you can unlock after each day, this is a great game the developers did an excellent job on this game!

Editing because I played the game finally. It’s very fun, nice gameplay mechanics, excellent sound design, quirky characters. The bugs will be very off putting to some people. If you can’t handle losing progress because you have to force quit, then wait until the game is more stable. Also decide how you feel about the whole license thing. I know games are often abandoned and whatnot after so many years on the platform (or worse, they go freemium) but this could be worth it if you’re okay with that model. I hope this doesn’t disappear or go free to play. I hope it gets the polish is needs as well. It’s good, but if the bugs get sorted it will probably be a top played.Original review—When I went to download the game Apple informed me I am purchasing a license… so I guess this can be taken away from me at any time. Not sure if this is a decision by Apple or the developer but it seems very anti consumer. I had preordered the game and no where did it state that this was a license upfront. I haven’t played the game yet either as I am deciding whether or not to even keep it since I wasn’t informed at time of purchase.
