Could not even get to the title screen, no loading images. Tried restarting it but did the same thing— just a dark screen. Will update if it changes.Update: didnt get to the title but it did load; says it doesn’t work with my phone even though it says on the Apple Store it works so recommend updating that, will try this out on my IPad laterUpdate 2: It works!!! Absolutely love it so far(3hrs in), I’ve been doing my first save on easy and the fighting is still reasonable without making me nervous, I still loose hearts, but haven’t gotten to less than two yet, so think i’m good. At three hours, I have eight followers, three doctrines, level 2 cult, level three for the divine stuff, have the second door open and visited two other places than my cult.(Though the fishing/cooking took me a while to understand and I don’t like the mechanics of on a touch screen having to press the specific button) Might try pairing my controller later, but I really did enjoy it!

I learned about this game three years ago, and its art style and gameplay really appealed to me. I like it a lot, and I never expected it to be released on mobile. However, after playing for over 20 hours, I encountered many bugs. For example, sleeping in the leader's tent causes a persistent black screen, follower selection gets stuck, and the nursery also has camera angle issues. I hope the developers can fix these as soon as possible. I really love this game!!😭😭💖

I honestly really like this game. I've already played like 20 hours of it and have a a nice little flock. The problem is the saving issue. This would be the third time starting over from scratch because the game glitches and I lose all my buildings, temple and devotion included, just disappear from the game. The game either doesn't load. I've tried both being offline and online. When it does manage to load all my buildings are gone. The first time everything stopped loading, the game took it upon itself to start me over from scratch on day 1, which I was annoyed with as I already spent 10 hours playing. Another 10 hours and second play through and I'm having the same file load issue. There isn't a way for me to remove it from iCloud or play locally which I would prefer either. I'm sad because it is a fun game but not worth the frustration of starting over every 10 hours.

This is a fantastic addition to Apple Arcade and exactly the kind of game that meaningfully adds to the platform’s overall value. While some players mentioned bugs at launch, my experience since the updates has been completely smooth. I’m on day 67, three bosses down, and still happily plugging away.I understand the appeal of Arcade leaning heavily into casual, family-friendly, and proven App Store hits—that’s an important part of the platform’s promise. But games like this are a huge step forward. Having deeper, more challenging, thoughtfully designed titles alongside traditional “phone games” dramatically increases the value of Apple Arcade for players who want something more substantial.Please keep bringing games of this quality to the service.
