Check in was a disaster … after receiving email after email about how well organised they were and insisting that I completed their on line pre arrival booking so I could just collect my key on arrival …. waste of time .. only comment was “did not see it”. Exterior parking was mentioned at check in at 3 dollars … ok whatever … on check out 20 dollars … room … ok for what it was .. no work desk but ok for one night. Duvet … had a lot of very “interesting” stains all down one side … yuck … someone had a good time …I booked a continental breakfast - 18 dollars a head … ok … high but it is what it is … on arrival at breakfast …. Breakfast had NOT been notified .. only option was a buffet breakfast at 28 dollars … check out another black market … 0700 when I was enjoying a well earned lie in … a message on my phone binged in asking that I confirm immediately what time I was checking out … not impressed … but the location was good …

Worst experience ever with flights booking through Expedia, think twice before booking with them!I had to rebook a return flight so contacted Expedia months before to rebook, they booked me a connecting flight too close to the next flight, and then the airline changed the flight so it overlapped with the next one. No warning from Expedia!!! When I was overseas I found out. I called the overseas Expedia, they told me I had to contact Expedia in my home country, cost like $8 a minute on my phone to call. They said I had to call the airline, I did, the airline said Expedia had to change the flight. After dozens of call’s over a week finally talked to manager who said they would email the airline. Expedia customer service promise to call you back but they will not unless they have a solution. Finally they told me they can change the flight. 4 days before my return flight I call Expedia to get confirmation, what do you know they never rebooked the overlapping flight!!! It’s still ongoing I will have to book a new ticket with the airline direct and claim back the costs from Expedia. It’s crazy something so simple they just won’t do it, obviously the flight must be changed! Be very careful, they will not warn you if there is an issue with a flight or change to flight. They sound nice on the phone but will not do anything behind the scenes! Never experienced anything so hopeless from booking a flight, even during Covid..

We have been staying on the Gold Coast for around 40years and unfortunately this accomodation would almost be the worst we have stayed at. The whole place is in need of a total revamp it appears nothing has been done to update in many years. The bed had springs coming through which was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom was past even being able to be cleaned properly as the fixtures were so old. Cobwebs on the top of the drapes weren’t very nice. The tacky patio that had paint peeling of the tiles. The most uncomfortable couch perhaps if your 7ft tall you may be ok. Overall definitely not worth the money we paid. Needless to stay we will have to reconsider booking with you in the future as your ratings and reviews seem way off. Would welcome an explanation from you.

Not at all close to the airport
My intro to Spain
Check in after my 34 hrs travel was very slow. Two staff stood by while I had to wait for another guest to check in - 14 minutes. I was almost dead on my feet. The hotel wasn’t close to the airport or any restaurants, shops etc. Train was handy tho. Room nice except I was given a room with a paraplegic bathroom - had to manipulate a double gate system to get in and out of the shower. The bathroom floor was flat so the shower water flowed out into the bedroom where the flooring was very damaged and the wood skirting & bottom of door was black and rotten. I suppose if the bathroom was set up for a wheelchair this can’t be fixed. I had to use all the towels to prevent this flooding. Ironic that there was a card suggesting that I be eco conscious and not have fresh towels. Pool area nice but couldn’t get served and there were no towels so I couldn’t take a swim.
