Nearly £100,000 in cash was seized and two men arrested in a series of raids linked to suspected money laundering and waste crimes.

The warrants were carried out on Thursday at buildings across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire and officers also seized six guns, suspected fake electrical goods and a suspected stolen vehicle.

About £97,000 in cash was recovered while investigators also said they tracked down an estimated £200,000-£300,000 in bank accounts.

Two men were arrested at an address in Drakes Broughton, near Pershore, on suspicion of firearms offences where the guns and about £18,000 in cash were seized from the property.

Another search took place at a farm in Peopleton, near Pershore, where officers said they found electrical goods suspected to be linked to money laundering, about £60,000 in cash and a suspected stolen car.
