IMHO there could be a lot of ARRL contest-specific improvement in the Cabrillo outputs of Wavelog. I end up having to post-process the Wavelog output to get the ARRL submission process to accept my logs. The ARRL does a lousy job of documenting the contest format, thus Wavelog's idea of the exchange contents vs the contest rules rarely match. Is this something where the Wavelog maintainers would like pull requests submitted? ARRL "Cabrillo" compatibility seems to be a mess. |

I think this would mostly impact the CBR import function. I am going to limit the scope of this request to ARRL contests for now. Other contests that are implemented in Wavelog and are not implemented yet could benefit from this too, but might create a mountain of work.
It would be nice if contests where the State/Province information is included in the exchange, the
Awards > Stateinformation of the contact would be updated during the Cabrillo import. For example, many contests use US States, Canadian Provinces, and Mexican States. Alternatively, many of the ARRL contests use ARRL/RAC sections. These sections map to states and provinces for the most part. Some US states have multiple ARRL sections in them, but states subdivided by ARRL still respect the overall state boundary. The exception to this is the RAC Territories section which combines the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The reality is, those two provinces make up a small percentage of contest QSOs.The ARRL contests that use just State/Provinces (not ARRL/RAC sections):
