In ideal installation cases the algorithms perform so well that it is favorable to compensate for the earth rotation.
Earth rotation = 15.04 degrees/hour = 4.18e-3 degrees/s.
The dead reckoning drift of our AHRS in good installations is in the order of 0.03 degrees/s.
Therefore we shall provide a mechanism to compensate for the earth's rotation, as it will improve the precision in ideal cases.
